ABOUT US

The mission of the Insomniac Theatre Company, as an alternative performance organization, is to strengthen the cultural fabric of our community by exploration of both its practical and extraordinary aspects through artistic cooperation, collaboration, and education. 

The principal values supporting this mission statement are:

• To empower the creative spirit of underrepresented local talent who aspire to generate performances that are accessible and welcoming to all;
• To provide a space for fresh, original content to be workshopped, honed, and publicly shared; 
• To produce exciting, experimental theater that always challenges and sometimes provokes; and
• To create fun and immersive experiences for creators, performers, and audiences alike.

The Board of Directors is the organizational body that manages the Insomniac Theatre Company (ITC). The Board is comprised of dedicated members who meet on a monthly basis as well as on a frequent basis for organized events. ITC is a nonprofit corporation with a 501(c)(3) IRS determination.
